Waitemata DHB is the largest DHB in New Zealand serving a population of approximately 500,000 living in the North and West of Auckland. Comprised of two sites, our hospitals have some of the best Specialists in New Zealand, are located close to the heart of Auckland City and are within minutes of beautiful beaches.

The Waitemata Dermatology Service wishes to develop a first world Dermatology service to the population of Waitemata DHB. Currently we have two part-time Dermatologists for the predominantly out-patient service. It is a medically based practice, with some minor surgery undertaken for people with skin disorders. In-patients are also seen in consultation at Waitakere and North Shore hospitals.

Close relationships, especially academic collegiality are maintained with the Dermatologists in Central Auckland.

Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the New Zealand Association of Salaried Medical Specialists Award Agreement. Appropriate NZ registration is required.
