Case 10

This elderly gentleman has noted gradually increasing numbers of asymptomatic white papules on his face over the last few years.

Senile comedones

The skin should be protected from the sun, as senile comedones are thought to be related to elastosis caused by long term sun exposure. The lesions can be treated by light diathermy, followed by topical tretinoin. They tend to recur so repeated treatment is necessary.
