Psoriasis

Drugs that may provoke psoriasis in a predisposed patient include lithium, antimalarials, systemic steroids and interferon.

If severe, the psoriasis may mean the causative drug has to be stopped. The psoriasis may improve or resolve if the medication is discontinued. Otherwise treat the psoriasis as in any other patient.
