Candidal intertrigo

What features distinguish it from other pustular conditions?

Candida albicans skin infection may also result in pustules, which are very superficial and rapidly dry up and peel off when exposed to the air. This is very often a feature of napkin dermatitis or an acute intertrigo. The case illustrated with severe candidal intertrigo was an obese diabetic.
